I’m a watercolor artist inspired by the delicate beauty of the natural world.

I have been drawn to art for as long as I can remember, but it is the small, fleeting details of nature that continually capture my attention. Feathers and butterflies, with their intricate patterns, unexpected colors, and incredible delicacy, have become a particular source of inspiration.

I paint these beautiful pieces of nature as I see them—and sometimes as I imagine them. I’m drawn to colors that are brighter and more vibrant than those found in the natural world, creating an imaginative place that feels familiar yet a little bit magical. Through watercolor, I explore the space between what is real and what we can imagine.

There is a fragility to the things I paint that I want to preserve. A feather can be soft and fleeting. A butterfly can be here for only a moment. Yet both can stop us in our tracks with their beauty.

My hope is that my work encourages people to slow down and notice. To look a little closer at the natural world and appreciate the extraordinary beauty that surrounds us every day. Nature is both delicate and resilient, and I believe it deserves to be admired, celebrated, and cared for.

As an artist, educator, and mom, I hope to pass that sense of wonder along—to encourage others, especially my students and daughters, to pay attention, find beauty in unexpected places, and see the world with a little more curiosity and imagination.
